Bell’s Hopslam 2013!

This year, hopslam arrived in Roanoke on January 31!

And now, Bell’s Hopslam is finally here! But hurry in, supplies won’t last long.

Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell’s Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell’s repertoire. Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit, and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style.

Alcohol by Volume:  10.0%

Hindsight, Napa Valley Chardonnay!

A Napa Valley Chardonnay with an excellent price! This has medium-rich character with nice, well-balanced oak style (not overpowering at all) and great bright fruit flavor!

Notes from Rob Hunter, Winemaker
This wine opens with aromas of apple, citrus, pears, & honey. Clean and crisp on the palate with bright acidity uncommon in new world Chardonnay’s, this is the perfect food wine or to enjoy a glass at the end of the day. Three months in neutral oak add a slight creaminess in the mid-palate that stretches to the finish of ripe apples and citrus.

About Hindsight

Hindsight is the result of four people who have a passion for wine, Napa Valley wine specifically, coming together to make a high quality, yet affordable wine. With 45 combined years in the wine business, we’ve heard two questions over and over.  The first question is, “why are wines from Napa Valley so good?”  Napa Valley is blessed with perfect conditions to grow grapes and many pioneers who discovered through trial and error what worked and what didn’t.  We all benefit from that knowledge.  The other question usually is “why are wines from Napa Valley so expensive?”.  There are many reasons, some valid reasons.  In reality though, while Napa Valley grapes are the most expensive grapes grown in the United States, there is a way to produce high quality wines made with Napa Valley grapes, and get these wines to consumers at affordable pricing.  That is what we are doing at Hindsight Wines.

We hope you enjoy our wines.  They are the result of many years of learning to blend wines, responding to distributors, retailers and consumer requests for high quality, yet affordable Napa Valley wines. Perfect timing brought us all together to produce Hindsight.
