We are thrilled to have Jim to introduce you to some of the fantastic wines in his portfolio.

     Christine is has been involved with some aspect of wine nearly all of her life.She grew up working in her family’s vineyard in King George, VA. Her first job was a tour guide at Ingleside Winery. While attending William and Mary, Christine was the sommelier at the Williamsburg Inn.
     Her career in the wine wholesale industry started upon graduation from college.
Her first job was as a receptionist with The Country Vintner.
Christine progressed to JP Distributing, then to sales manager of Dettor, Edwards, and Morris and finally back to The Country Vintner in 1996.
Christine is an ardent wine educator having lectured at the University of VirginiaVirginia Department of AgricultureThe Homestead ResortThe Boar’s Head Inn, and Crystal Cruise Lines.
Christine has been invited to judge at various regional competitions as well as the International Wine Competition in Corning, New York. Christine has conducted tours to many of the wine regions of France. Italy, Chile, Argentina and Spain.

This is our first class on French wines, and boy is it an important one! Come discover the regions and varietals that make this country so famous for their delicious and distinctive wines. We will explore the regions of Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire, Alsace, and the Rhone and why the grapes and regions vary.
